- Spam: Posting the same or similar content or message repeatedly or promoting unrelated services, products, websites, or organizations is considered spam and will be removed.
- Political comments: Comments in support of or opposition to specific political campaigns or ballot measures.
- Profanity or sexual content: Profane language or content; sexual content or links to sexual content
- Discrimination: Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination based on race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status regarding public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability or sexual orientation.
- Illegal activity: Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity or content that violates a legal ownership interest of any other party.
- Security-Sensitive Information: Information that may compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems.
- Personal privacy or attacks: Defamatory, slanderous, or negative comments of a personal nature about any individual or posting personal information about yourself or others.
By participating on First District’s social media pages, you agree to adhere to these guidelines. First District Health Unit reserves the right to restrict or remove any content that is deemed to be in violation of this social media policy or any applicable law, and to ban or block any profile with repeat violations.
