Testing

COVID home test kits are available free to the public.  Stop in at our Minot office between 8:00 – 4:30 on regular business days, and enter through Door B.  COVID tests are on a table in the lobby and available to anyone – take as many as you need.  If you’d like a larger quantity (if you are providing them to your employees, for example), ring the bell at the Environmental Division doorway and someone will assist you.  First District Health Unit does not administer COVID tests.

Isolation and Quarantine Guidelines

There are no longer isolation and quarantine guidelines specifically for COVID-19.  If you have any respiratory virus, you should follow the CDC’s guidance “Preventing Spread of Respiratory Virus When You Area Sick“.
