OPTIMAL PREGNANCY OUTCOME PROGRAM (OPOP)

OPOP



A primary prevention program designed to help pregnant women make informed, healthy lifestyle choices for healthy babies. To be enrolled in this program, the woman must be under the care of a physician.


Monthly visits include:

Nursing Services
  • Health history
  • Health assessment
  • Lifestyle guidance
  • Risk avoidance
  • Pregnancy and child care education

Social Work Services

  • Social assessment
  • Explore options
  • Limited counseling
  • Referral to available resources

Dietitian Services

  • Nutrition assessment
  • Nutrition guidance
  • Breastfeeding information
  • Prenatal vitamins


Services are provided at no charge and clinics are held the first two Monday afternoons and the first three Thursday mornings of each month in Minot.
